As dusk falls, enter the magical world of Power Plant – a place where time is temporarily put on hold, where gramophones spin sparkling sounds, haunting whistles rise and fall, and shimmering flowers dance to their own tune.

Power Plant is a captivating nocturnal bush walk through enchanting, delicate light and sound installations created by five internationally acclaimed artists and New Zealand artist sonicsfromscratch.

See the trees, bush tracks and wildlife of the Domain in remarkable new ways. Take the opportunity to amble through Power Plant and illuminate your relationship with Auckland’s natural environment.

Follow in the footsteps of over 75,000 people around the world who have had a Power Plant experience.

 Important information:

  • Outdoor, all-weather performance. Limited capacity – book early. The box office on site will be open on performance days only, from 6pm.

  • Entry to Power Plant is in small groups every 15 minutes throughout the night. Once you are in the venue take your time until close. Book your slot by now by going to aaf.co.nz

  • Please wear comfortable shoes. There are hills and steps on the walk

  • Not suitable for wheelchairs, buggies or strollers
